About Our Practice
What is Piñero Preventive Medical Care?
Piñero Preventive Medical Care (PPMC) is a family medicine and preventive care practice located in Orlando, FL. Founded in 2006 by Dr. Rafael E. Piñero, MD, we are a Patient Centered Medical Home designated by the NCQA. Our team of Board-Certified Family Physicians and experienced Nurse Practitioners provides everything from annual physicals and chronic disease management to aesthetic treatments all under one roof.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We’re located at 2766 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803. Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Do you offer after-hours support?
Yes. We provide 24/7 on-call medical coverage, including holidays, so you always have access to a provider who knows your history, even outside of regular office hours.

How do I book an appointment?

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a list of all current medications (including supplements), any previous lab work, imaging reports, or medical evaluations, and a summary of your family health history if available. It also helps to write down any current concerns or symptoms so nothing gets missed during your visit.

What if I don't have insurance?

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

What services does PPMC offer?
We provide a comprehensive range of services including: primary care and annual physicals, women’s health, men’s health, LGBTQ+ health, PrEP and HIV care, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), chronic disease management, urgent care, and aesthetic treatments. Most diagnostic services, including lab work, echocardiograms, ultrasounds, EKGs, and pulmonary function tests are performed right in our office.
Do you provide care for LGBTQ+ patients?
Absolutely, and we’re proud to. PPMC is a welcoming, affirming practice for all patients. Our providers have extensive experience with LGBTQ+ health needs including PrEP, HIV care and treatment, hormone therapy, STI screening, and preventive care, delivered with respect and discretion.
What is PrEP and do you offer it?
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a medication that significantly reduces the risk of contracting HIV. We offer confidential PrEP consultations, testing, and ongoing management tailored to your needs and lifestyle.
Do you offer aesthetic treatments?
Yes. Our aesthetic services include Botox, fillers, Evolve by INMODE body contouring, and SculpSure. We also offer a TOX Membership, a premium aesthetic program designed for consistent, physician-guided treatments to help you maintain a refreshed, youthful appearance.

You can log in to your patient portal at the link found under “Patient Resources” on our website. Through the portal you can message your care team, request prescription refills, view lab results, and manage appointments.
